Homestay in 加拿大 － 渥太华
My partner and I have been together for 20 years and have raised two wonderful boys. Both our boys have since moved out and we are running a Homestay house for a number of reasons. One of the reasons is to supplement our income, but we also host because we have both traveled extensively (England, US, Hungary, Amsterdam, to name a few) and love meeting people from all over! We have been hosting students since 2018 and so far have had students from Vietnam, Korea, Italy, Germany, Brazil, France, Spain and Thailand.
I am an avid gamer (video games, board games, etc.) and love music (jazz, classical, alternative, funk, etc.). Kathy loves to knit, sew and paint. We love camping and spending time outdoors. We have a small dog named Poppy who is quite shy, but will warm up to people after a while.
There is a large indoor pool and a workout room to which our homestay guests have access. We have public transport right across the road from us (2 bus routes) and another one a block away which runs to the commuter train and mall (St. Laurent station). We have a fenced in back patio with comfy chairs and coffee table (I work from home and often work out there!) which is lovely.
