Welcome! I'm Joseph.

About my home and location:
My home is at the edge of Toronto near the quiet, cozy suburbs.
Useful locations that's walk-able (< 30 mins):
- Centerpoint Mall
- Galleria (contains a mini shopping and food court)
- grocery stores (H-mart, No Frills, FreshCo, Metro)
- banks, pharmacy, medical offices, cafes, restaurants, and bars
For public transit, I can get you set up with a Presto card ($4), which comes with discounts ([link not available]
With the Presto card, you still need to buy a transit pass or load it with money to properly use the transit.

About the other members of the home:
- As the host, I'll be living there in my own room and private washroom.
- On the upper floor, there will be at most three homestay guests, each with their own room, but sharing a washroom.
- On the main floor, a couple and their cat has their own private washroom.
- Everyone on the main and upper floors share the kitchen and laundry area.
- Long-term renters occupy the basement floor.

Meals:
7am - 9am Breakfast: I'll provide light foods like fresh fruits, bread, spreads, cereal, milk, juice, eggs, etc.
Noon - 1pm: Lunch: Because of my work schedule, I can't promise consistent cooked meals for lunch and dinner, but I can prepare ready to cook meals.
However, I do like cooking so, once a while, I do special group meals (e.g., hot pot, barbecue, etc).
Let me know if you have any food allergies or requests so I can make you feel at home.

House rules:
- Respect everyone and their property in the household.
- Be reasonable with the noise level and the time of day. Everyone is either studying, working, or resting during the day and/or night.
- Let me know of any issues in message or email so I have record, then we can talk in-person.

Activities:
I can provide information about getting around and doing activities in Toronto.
If there's anything you want do in Toronto, then I can help with the research.
The home has a bunch of board games which can help with language practice.

About me:
I've recently started hosting but I'll do my best to help you enjoy your stay in Toronto.
I know a bit of Vietnamese and I'm learning to speak Korean and Japanese. I've visited Vietnam, Korea, Japan, Bali, and US.
As for my routine, I regularly go to the gym, go wall climbing, or hiking if you want to join me.
