We are a Filipino-Canadian family of 3, family oriented who loves and enjoy the company of our friends, family and our international students. We are easy going, friendly, very active with our winter & summer outdoor activities. We love to travel and explore. We are young couple, married for 18 years and both have professional jobs and currently working from home. We have an adorable 7year old daughter who is very respectful, polite and well behaved.

We have been providing homestay service to multi-culture international students since 2018 and we are proud to share that our 22+ former students have expressed their gratitude about how happy, enjoyable and memorable their experience with our homestay. We are highly rated by our former students and have nothing but positive remarks to share with their school, family and friends.

While we understand your focus and priority is your studies and your future plans, we are also here to provide our students with assistance and guidance as new comer to Canada. We treat our students with respect, consider their privacy and their schooling needs while we try to make their homestay experience as comfortable, enjoyable and memorable for you as possible. We treat our students like a member of our family and NOT “just a student , a renter or simply for money”. We interact with them, always include them and encourage them to participate to our family activities: day trips, camping, picnics, family & friends party, be active in sports recreations – bowling, basketball, volleyball , biking , roller-blade and even our karaoke sing-along activities.

Within our homestay, not only we provide an ideal study space for you but we also provide comfortable and open access policy to our common areas. Our students room are comfortable, very clean , bright and have queen size bed in each room. We have a spacious living room area, dining room, basement and out-door space. Our home is SMART enabled with outdoor security cameras for security purposes, voice-activation & automated/scheduled lights on/off, thermostat, IPTV service and pin-code based entry to student rooms. As a bonus to our students, we also have a multi-functional room which we use as office-workspace during the week, but a party room, theater room for watching movies/sports on big projector screen, exercise room and also a music/karaoke party room with full surround sound system and party lights for fun-party experience. Also, another bonus, our backyard space is recently renovated and modernized and been the key highlights for our summer activities where we have fun with family and friends for barbeque gathering, and sometimes used as an area to kick-back and to simply relax and chill. On some nights we also enjoy the backyard space for a quiet night of bonfire with marshmallows and snacks. Lastly, our zen backyard also available to you to relax and chill by the hammock for quality snooze.

Our homestay is located in a quiet and friendly Scarborough community 15-20 minutes east of downtown Toronto but centralized around the following areas:

HOUSE RULES:
• Lock room-door and turn off lights when leaving the house
• Always lock main door when entering / leaving the house
• Host-bedroom is restricted access
• Keep your room clean and tidy – including student washroom
• Weekend laundry only
• Guest allowed but no overnight – ask first before inviting guest
• Phone / text host when coming home late or dinning outside
• No smoking inside the house
