Hello students! We are Taiwanese couple and have lived in Calgary more than 30 years. We love to introduce you to what Calgary has to offer and make you feel at home away from home. We have been hosting international students or working holiday young professions since 2018. We are a fun and easy-going couple who love enjoying food, home cooking and travelling. We speak English and Mandarin fluently.
We have a lovely cat to accompany you! The two bedrooms we are offering are located on the 2nd floor while one bedroom is located at the walk-out basement. Both guests on the 2nd floor share one washroom/shower room just steps away on the hallway. The guest staying at the basement room has a private washroom/shower room outside the bedroom.
Simple and cozy living room and kitchen are the common areas for all hanging out together. Deck, basement and backyard are the other places in the house you can relax at.
Our home is located in Panorama Hills NW. A main transit point (BRT North Pointe) is 5-10 minutes walking distance. Main route bus 301 runs regularly to city centre; bus 8 runs directly to University of Calgary; and many other routes take you to neighboring areas. Supermarkets, cinema, restaurants, cafes, banks, library, gym and post offices are all within walking distance or less than 10 minutes driving distance.
