We have been hosting students since 2017. We enjoy meeting new people and learning about their culture, interests and personal aspirations. We are friendly, understanding and approachable. We have two children, boys ages 12 and 14. Both my husband and I work from home and our hobbies include watching movies, video games, hiking, reading and making things with our hands.

Our home environment is warm and caring and safe. Our home is an English Only speaking home. Easy access to the bus and a six minute bus ride to the Runnymede Subway station. We live in a friendly and beautiful neighbourhood surrounded by plenty of shops and restaurants and not too far from High Park. Convenient location close to transit, grocery stores (2 minute walk), Walmart (10 minute walk), pharmacy, banks and library.

We have 3 guest rooms. All are bright sunlit bedrooms on second floor of our home. Bedrooms 1 and 2 have a beautiful view of our garden. The rooms are fully furnished with air conditioning and heating, high-speed internet, large size bed, wardrobe, study table, chair and lamp. Clean bedding, towels and pillows are included. Laundry facilities provided (guest washes their own clothing on weekends). If you need a break: Upstairs you can use the lounge where you can watch movies or read a book. We have a lovely backyard with a deck to enjoy the outdoors during warmer weather.

Complimentary: Espresso coffee and tea.
Dinner: Delicious meals from various cultures including: Pork and Beef Roasts, Beef and Chicken Curries/Stews, Pho/Udon/Ramen Soups, Stir fry, Short ribs, Pasta and lots of BBQ during the summer season.

House Rules: Guests are responsible for the tidiness of their bedrooms and bathroom. Please limit showers to 15 minutes. Guests are responsible for washing their own laundry and bed sheets. Windows and doors must be closed if air conditioning or heat turned on. Guest must turn off heater and air condition when they are not home. Laundry times are evenings and weekends. No outside shoes in the home (please bring slippers to wear in the house). No overnight guests. Quiet after 10:30pm. Kitchen is to be cleaned after each use. We do not accept smokers. We expect guests to treat our home with respect as we also endeavour to treat them with respect.
