Hi! Welcome to our home!

We have been offering Homestay off and on for over 20 years. We have offered homestay to individuals from China, Korea, Japan, Germany and Brazil.

We first started offering Homestay when my children were younger as a way to share our traditions and Canadian culture with others, while offering my children the opportunity to learn traditions and cultures from around the world, first hand from those whom stayed with us. With my children now older, one of whom is out on their own, with a young family of their own, I continue to offer Homestay as I prefer having a full house. :)

I am an active individual who enjoys hiking, going for walks along the river or around the local lake. In the warmer months, I enjoy camping, going on road trips and spending time on or near the water, enjoying activities such as paddle boarding. I enjoy watching sports, both live or on tv. I like to cook, especially large family dinners and really enjoy baking. You will almost always find fresh baking in my kitchen.

I work full time in a management position and in my free time, I also enjoy volunteering within the community.

We expect guests of our home to clean up after themselves as well as keep their space tidy at all times. We are a non smoking and no drugs of any kind home and expect the same from guests who stay with us.
