Free walking tours in Canada: Vancouver, Toronto, & Montréal

We've researched some great walking tours in some of the most popular cities in Canada.

In our experience, we find that a walking tour is a great way to acquaint yourself with a new city shortly after you arrive. You'll get a really good feel for the city and you'll see the touristy sites you wanted to see anyway in an efficient way and with the insights of a local guide.

These tours are free to join and you are asked for a gratuity for what you feel the tour was worth at the end. Tours generally run for 1.5 - 2.5 hours.

Some tours have a fixed meeting point and you can just show up at their scheduled time, and others require that you book in advance. Check out the full schedules and details for the following cities:
